Tutorial 6.

Lighting Your Scene and Using Materials.
For mental ray renderer.
You can see the dramatic
difference this value can make.
Here I lowered the 'Decay' to 1.5.
It's a bit of a cheat to use it in this
way but hey, it does the trick.

You can see from this tutorial
that there is more than one way
to do things.
Here I used a technique to
'bounce' light off an object that is
not even in the final scene, and
yet adds subtle lighting to the
end result. This is neither
the
way to do things nor the
only
way to do things, merely a way
of doing things.

There are undoubtedly better
and easier ways than this, but I
got the look
I wanted so I'm
happy with it.

     Cabinet
     Tweeter outer.
     Woofer rubber.
     Woofer cone.
     Domes x2.
     Screws.
     Pegs.
Lights:
     1x mr Area Omni.
     1x mr Area Spot.

Renderer:
     GI on.
     Decay = 1.5.

     Final Gather on.
     Multiplier = 2.
     Diffuse Bounce = 1.

Not much for a half decent result
I'd say................Regards.
