move it slightly. We can also
change the colour too from a a
little more soft.
There are in fact lots of things
we could tweak, far too many
to mention here really in any
great detail. Apart from the
lights we could also consider
the 'environment', the
'background' and the renderer
settings, all of which will
change the appearance of the
render.
For this example I'm going to
change the light colour,
intensity and position first.........
Looks worse eh? Well yes but
In the 'GI' settings you will
notice toward the bottom of
the dialog box something
called 'Decay'.
mathematical formula based
on the lights distance from the
object. 2 is the default value
simply because that is a real
world value, naturally light
decays at this value. We can
use this though to artificially
alter the decay and so increase
the brightness of the scene
without the need to change
any light settings.........
