everything else is exactly the
same.
detail is starting to show, not
brilliant but better. With a bit
more tweaking we could get
this spot on. We could also
move the light again, or tweak
the intensity a bit more or even
change the colour of the
light...any of these will have an
effect.....it's just trial and error
until it looks right.
At this point we could continue
to add more lights, tweaking
and adjusting as we go along,
but there is another option........
.....'Bounced' light..........

It's not actually black at all
technique used in the Film and
TV industry and in photo
studios too is what's known as
'reflected' or 'bounced' or
'diffused' light. (depends on
your training as to what it's
called).
some bright coloured object,
usually cloth stretched over a
frame, to 'bounce' light onto
the object you want to film or
photograph. Why? Well it gives
a 'diffused' light, shadows are
much softer and it gives a
more natural look to the object.
We can apply the same here.....
