So there you have it. A material with a 'Base' colour of Red in the 'Diffuse' colour.
A 'Composite' Map in the 'Diffuse' Map slot. (Set to TWO maps)
A 'Mask' Map in Map slot 1, AND in Map slot 2.
Each of those have a 'Bitmap' Map in the 'Map' slot AND in the 'Mask' slot.
When moving,rotating or scaling the UVW mapping gizmo, take care not to
'distort' the image out of shape, if this happens try a different mapping mode.
